Happy Birthday, Anna Sewell, thanks for Black Beauty!

Filed under: Memorable Authors, Special Dates, Writing History — admin @ 8:07 pm

Am I the only girl that dreamed of the day when she would one day own a horse? I loved horses and reading any book I could get my hands on that had anything to do with horses, so reading “Black Beauty” was a natural for me.

So, may I just say thanks to the wonderful author, Anna Sewell, born this day in 1820, for capturing the imagination of a girl like me, and yes, I did realize my dream and did own a beautiful horse for a few years after graduating from High School.

eBook Seminar You Don’t Want to Miss

Here is a seminar that I highly recommend to anyone who is serious about making money with eBooks, and though the title “How To Make Thousands Of Dollars With E-books Teleseminar Series” may sound like an exaggeration, I assure you it’s not.

The seminar begins this Wednesday, March 19th.

Here are the key things that will be covered in the seminar:

  1. How to find an extremely profitable topic for your e-book. This is very important, because if your topic is not eye-catching and profitable, you will not make money with your e-book.
  2. How to protect your eBook from being passed around for free to others, which will cause you to lose income.
  3. How to create a whole information products empire based on your e-book.
  4. How to maximize profits from your e-book

and much, much, much more. There are only 6 seats left for the Teleseminar Series. You will not be able to register for the Teleseminar Series once 6 more people register…so register now at “How To Make Thousands Of Dollars With E-books Teleseminar Series

Thanks for reading, and Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Organic Gardening Secrets (eBook Review)

Filed under: Available for Sale, Personal Collection — admin @ 12:10 pm

This is a delightful eBook! As I review eBooks, I’m always amazed at how many different formats there are for publishing eBooks. For this particular eBook, there are a couple of ads on the first page, then you click through to the book which has an easy-to-read font that makes you want to read, no eye-strain. The text and layout are beautiful, and at the end of each page, you click a link to the page that follows.

The chapters include:

  • Introduction
  • Working With Soils
  • Organic Fertilizers
  • Mushroom Compost
  • Raised Bed Gardening
  • Crop Rotation (with colorful chart)
  • Pest Control
  • Vegetable Garden Maintenance
  • The Right Tool for the Task
  • Planting
  • Seed Selectin
  • Soil Preparation
  • Thinning
  • Growing Artichokes, then follows 35-40 chapters devoted to how to grow 35-40 different vegetables, in alphabetical order.

It’s a wonderful eBook, especially as the gardening season approaches in our part of the US. The author, Pauline Hodgkinson, is from the UK, but the information is appropriate wherever you garden.

The ebook is available for sale by me for $1.25, and has full re-sale rights. Click “Personal Collection” for posts on all eBooks I have available for sale. All have full re-sale rights.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

Filed under: Memorable Authors, Special Dates, Writing History — admin @ 4:15 pm

Today is Dr. Seuss’ birthday, he was born in 1904, and I remember well many of his books, including The Cat in the Hat, The Cat in the Hat Comes Back, Green Eggs and Ham, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and so many other books that made learning to read a fun experience for young…and old!
