Some Book Ends For You

Filed under: Other Book Blogs — admin @ 7:25 am

Today a friendly woman stopped by and left a comment at one of my other blogs. As I visited her profile, and some of the blogs she owns, I found “Book Ends”. It’s always fun to share what others are doing, so may I invite you to stop by and pay Mary a visit at “Book Ends“.

Seller Account with Amazon

Filed under: Amazon Seller, How to Sell — admin @ 12:58 pm

For the past year or so, I’ve had a seller account with Amazon to sell used books, or to put items up for auction. I have been using Amazon as a way of listing some titles that I have on hand. It’s so very easy, and I do my best to keep my prices competitive. If you have a seller account, you should go in regularly and check to see if your prices are the lowest, if you feel the book is worthy of lowering the price. It’s easy to do, and easy to adjust your prices. If you want to see what I’m selling, click to visit Claudia’s Corner Storefront. There are usually no pictures of used titles, and if you click on a title, you’ll be taken to a page with a link to all titles available by all sellers. If I’m at the top of my game :-) my title will be the lowest, or second to lowest priced if someone has bumped me down. I also offer to send pictures by email upon request.

Site for Author Marketing Information

For quite some time I’ve been receiving a newsletter that I signed up for at Author Marketing Experts, Inc. The newsletter is helpful, and the site has some information that may interest those of you who are authors, and are looking for ways to market your books. There are also tools to help you write your book, and free consultations by phone. I’m not receiving any compensation for writing about this site, just thought it was helpful, and wanted to share it. Have a great day!

How to Start an eBay eBook Business (eBook Review)

Filed under: All eBooks, How to Sell, Reviewed for Others — admin @ 7:49 pm

I was contacted by a Sally Neill to review an eBook she has put together on “How to Start a Pofitable eBay eBook Business“.

The eBook is 54 pdf pages long, and provides easy to follow information. I sell vintage paper items on eBay myself so am familiar with how to sell, it’s fun, and can be profitable if you know what you’re doing….but when I was looking through Sally’s eBook to review it, I saw that there is still much that I can learn! She not only discusses selling on eBay, but other methods of selling and marketing your books, and provides a starter bundle of eBooks with resale rights for a reasonable price.

I’m quite impressed, and, no, the eBooks I offer on this blog were not purchased from Sally, but I may take a closer look!

Author Mom Proud of Author Son…and So Am I!

Filed under: Good News — admin @ 7:05 pm

Today an author that I’m friendly with through a couple of networking sites announced the following about her son, Christoper, and I was so excited, I just had to post it here…Debra Shiveley Welch’s books, as well as Christophers, are available in the margin to the right. Read on!

“I am happy to announce that my dear, sweet boy. The boy who, when age three, I was told was incapable of learning. That glorious child who has brought nothing but joy to his parents….is now…..officially A BEST SELLING AUTHOR!

“Earlier this week, his book “Christopher Bullfrog Catcher” hit the best seller list on Buy.com and Amazon.com. I am so very, very thrilled for him.

“My book, Son of My Soul continues to pop on and off the list, but this news about Chris just thrills me to the core.

“Chris worked very hard on that book and completed it when he was eleven-years old. His quote below, exemplifies the child’s feelings about his capabilities:

“‘All kids should follow their dreams, and don’t let others tell you that you can’t do it, even if you have learning differences. Focus, work hard, and say to yourself “There’s nothing you can do to stop me.’ ”

Way to go Christopher…with an attitude like that, you are going places!
