We are on the road right now. My Colorado raised husband, Paul, and I, have made our way from NJ through Massachusetts, stopping near Boston to see the renovations made to what used to be my grandparents house…a place we vacationed every year when I was a child..I’ll share some of those memories later in the week at my Memories and Nostalgia blog.

We’re through New Hampshire, and find ourselves just into Maine in a nice hotel watching the Boston Red Sox beat the Colorado Rockies again..so far, anyway…poor Paul. We stopped to view the ocean and the beautiful Rocky shoreline, and to breath the wonderful air, and look for a few sea creatures in the tide pools as the tide was low

I will have pictures for you in the coming week, and also a couple more author friends have sent me wonderful new books to share. In the meantime, here’s a few related to New England, Maine, and Lighthouses.

Though I received this as an e-book, it is actually a collection of well over 500 letters for every occasion that you can think of. It has a search feature, so that you simply put in a key word for the type of letter you would like to type, and it provides a list of the appropriate letters. You then click on the particular letter you are looking for in the list. The letter appears in a window, and can be “copied” and “pasted” into whatever program you use for your letters. Then you can simply personalize it.

Many of the letters are business letters, related to every type of business, business transaction, or business event that you can think of. I noticed many letters in the list that gave me ideas, things that I would never have thought to take the time to write about.

So the next time you find yourself at a loss for words, or wondering how to write a particular letter, this “e-book” may be helpful to you.

This is a 118 page PDF format eBook written by Sri Swami Sivananda, very professionally done, and just full of all kinds of information related to Yoga. It is written from a spiritual perspective. I am a Christian, and practice the the truths taught in the Bible, so this book is not in line with some of the basic principles that I believe. However, I don’t know enough about yoga to carry on an intelligent conversation about it, so found it interesting. Some of the chapters include:
